The fuel / air mixture must make two 90 degree right angle turns before entering the inlet ports.
Straight through!
Nice smooth bends for good flow. Unlike the other carbs, all you can see from the top view, is the air cleaner.
Fairly straight flow, but un-even distribution. With the single carb arrangement, the #2 and #3 cylinder tend to get more fuel than the ones on the ends. Fitting "dual" DCOEs solves this problem.
